"In 2007, I had the opportunity to train a 2 year old filly that appeared to be a talented race horse. Unfortunately, she had a tendency to tie up. "On September 8th, 2007, my filly Postmark bled from her nose after a dull effort. She had raced without her normal closing kick her previous 2 starts and I presume that she bled then also. I gave her three weeks of jogging to allow her lungs to clear and then worked her a mile in 2:12. She bled again from her nose and I and my partner decided to quit with her for the year. That afternoon, I came across the Equiwinner website and decided to try the patches before I quit with her. I used the patches for ten days, then qualified her on Oct. 16. I had her scoped afterward and she had a very small trace of blood at the botton of her air passageway. I went ahead and raced her without lasix and she scoped clean except for excess mucus with a single drop of blood in it.
"Veterinarian estimates were that on a scale of 1-5, she had gone from a 5 to a 0.5 on bleeding. I put her on 4cc of lasix, raced her again and she scoped clean. I then sent her to Woodbine to race and the results are as shown on Signal-Health's website. There is no question in my mind that these patches work. I have purchased additional sets of patches for friends and would judge that in all cases the horses' performance improved, sometimes dramatically."

“I decided to try Equiwinner patches at a time when I was in a desperate situation with Stuck in Traffic. He was one of Canada’s top two-year old males in 2007 and he had just bled. We tried the usual things but couldn’t stop him from bleeding. After treating him with Equiwinner, he won the next two stakes races, and came in second in a third stakes race and the patches did what they claim to do. He did not bleed, and has not bled since the treatment almost 4 months ago.

"A couple of months ago I purchased a German Warmblood horse who had only been in the United States for three months. It was early April, and I soon noticed he was not sweating at all. I tried the usual remedies (beer, minerals, electrolytes, and other products for equine non-sweaters). None of these worked at all. As I live in South Florida, I knew this was a big and important issue. My vet suggested I try the patch, and having no other options and being desperate, I agreed. For a while nothing happened, and then it started. He is now sweating every day, his coat is beautiful, he has normal energy, he is happy, and his gastric issues have disappeared. He is in normal training and it is very hot here. He will be in his second dressage show this coming weekend. I didn't think we could ride him this summer, and would have to wait until October. I am very grateful for this treatment. I will repeat it if he stops sweating again. I realize it may take one to two years for him to adjust from the cold German climate to the South Florida heat.
